Participate in the Black Ships Festival

The Japan‑America Society and Black Ships Festival of Rhode Island (JASRI) welcomes artists, makers, food vendors, community organizations, and creative small businesses to take part in one of Rhode Island’s most joyful cultural celebrations. The Black Ships Festival’s Cultural Marketplace Fair brings together arts, entertainment, food, and crafts with an Asian cultural twist — and you’re invited to be part of it!

How to Get Involved:

  • Vendor or Food Booth: Apply online — the JASRI team will review your application and provide next steps. Fee waivers may be available for nonprofits.

  • Volunteer or Sponsor: Support the festival while gaining visibility and helping bring this cultural celebration to life.

  • Attend: Bring family and friends to enjoy performances, crafts, food, and fun!

Be part of one of Rhode Island’s most exciting cultural events — connect, share, and celebrate with us!
