Enjoy a formal gala honoring the signing of the Treaty of Kanagawa and the culture, education, and community historically enjoyed between Japan and Rhode Island.
Join us as we welcome Japanese Dignitaries, RI Officials, and the US Navy. Enjoy a unique evening that fuses both Japanese and American culture. Begin the evening with the breaking of the Ceremonial Sake Drum filled with Gekkeikan Sake. Elegant sit-down dinner prepared by Audrain Hospitality. The Gala includes dancing, fine wines by Shaw-Ross International Importers, sushi by Haruki, and specialty drinks by Cocktail Guru. Enjoy an exclusive taiko drumming presentation. Gala is Presented by Toray Plastics (America), Inc. Black Tie Optional * Kimonos Welcome
